The bobbin lace dress in the lace collection attracts a lot of attention. It was made in Železniki: Antonija Thaler drew a pattern, the three Primožič sisters from Železniki made it, and one of the sisters brought the individual bobbin lace parts into a dress. The dress was ordered and made during World War II. The sisters didn’t know for whom they were making the dress. It was said to have been for the Spanish princess or for the Slovenian actress Ita Rina. The clients who ordered the dress were extremely pleased with it and allowed the sisters to try it on and photograph themselves before giving it to them.
